Desmond D’Sa was the chairperson of SDCEA from its inception in 1996 until July of 2008. He has been involved in SDCEA from its onset, having worked in the chemical industry and understanding the field from a wide variety of perspectives before joining SDCEA. After stepping down as chair of the organization, he remains involved as the Office Coordinator and will continue to do what he does best- mobilizer and galvanize people around environmental and human rights issues.
